No Aero Glass in Vista for Pirates

According to Ars Technica if Windows Vista detects that you are using a pirated copy, you won't be able to use Aero Glass, the new 3D user interface. How it will determine you have a pirated version is as of yet unknown. You can make two bets right now: 1) someone will very quickly figure out a workaround for this, and 2) someone with a legitimate copy will have problems because Vista will insist that it's a pirated copy.

As an aside, when Vista comes out, XP will be the first Microsoft OS I have ever completely passed by. I've had to use it on the work computer. All I can say about it is, "Well, it's kind of better than Win98, or something, I guess."
