A Look Ahead at KDE 4

LinuxDevCenter has an interview with KDE developer Aaron J. Seigo about some of the cool new features that will be in KDE 4. KDE is the K Desktop Environment (GUI) for the X windowing system in Linux. They are aiming for a beta in the fall of this year. He also helps clarify what it means that KDE 4 will run on Mac OSX and Windows. There's a lot of interesting things in there. I'll say this, if they go with GStreamer for the multimedia system, I hope they figure out a way to make GStreamer easier to compile and install. Right now, it's a pain. Thanks Linux Today.
