Ep III Breaks One-Day Record -- 11:02 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun

TheForce.Net is reporting that Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith broke the first-day receipts record by taking in $50 million on its first day. The previous record was held by Shrek 2 with $44.8 million. It looks like Lucas will make up the cost of the movie ($113 million) this weekend.
