Fiorina Out at HP

Call me a prophet. Back when the HP/Compaq merger was approved I said "I've a feeling that history will show this merger to be about as successful as the Time-Warner/AOL merger" and "one day we'll all look back on this and laugh." Today, evidently, is that day. HP CEO Carly Fiorina was forced out, mainly because the merger that she championed didn't bring the quick success she promised. Surprise, surprise.

J.t.Qbe comments: Ding dong, the... er, maybe not. Adding to the good news coming from HP, development of OpenVMS is actively continuing and a new version will be released in the near future. I can't remember where I read it. Sorry.
