The RIAA apologizes

According to this CNet article, the RIAA actually issued an apology for making a DCMA threat against Penn State University that was completely unfounded. They accused the Penn State astronomy department of piracy, when the issue was a professor named Usher (also an RIAA artist) and a home-grown band's song about a radio telescope.

Can somebody just put this rabid RIAA pitbull to sleep? "Oh, we're sorry. It must have been a temp employee that messed up". Please. Good face you're putting on the music industry there, guys. Keep up the good work.
