Flash Player Libraries -- 9:44 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

An update was made to the Penguin.SWF blog, listing the libraries that will be needed in order to use the Flash Player 9 beta for Linux. They all seem to be pretty standard--I've got them all in a default Slackware 11.0 RC5/-current installation. Hopefully that beta isn't too far off. I'd really like to check out some Flash 9 content, particularly ESPN 360.

NFL Week #3 Final -- 12:11 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

I'm sure you've heard of "The Perfect Storm": where the conditions are just right (or just wrong) to make a bad storm into a horrific one. Well, that happened last weekend for me. Everything that could have gone wrong with my picks did. My fantasy team scored over 100 points--too bad those were my bench players. My Lions lost a painful game that I had the privilege of watching. I'm just now getting over this. Anyway, I was 7-7 and Eeyore was 10-4. Maybe I should just quit now. Year-to-date I'm 27-19 (.587) while she is 32-14 (.696).

Here's the really stupid thing: I'm also picking games with my relatives on Yahoo. On there, I'm 30-16. Explain THAT one to me.
