MythBusters and VEX

Robot Magazine has posted an article with the MythBusters trying out the Radio Shack VEX robot building system. This $300 kit allows regular joes to try their hands at building robots with a prepackaged kit of parts and controls. Very cool stuff.

A.T. Hun comments: This is too cool. Why didn't they have that when I was a kid? Good thing I've got three sons :)

Got Guinness?

I know I do! I just found the last four-pack of Guinness draft in my little burgh. I'm as German as the day is long, but I'll take any excuse to have some high-quality stout. Please drink responsibly and get a designated driver. The one St. Patrick's day tradition that I avoid like the plague is corned beef. The stuff makes me hurl unless it's in hash.

And as a very religious person, I've always been bemused by using a saint's name as an opportunity to get trashed.
