How Not to DIY -- 5:52 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun
Extremetech's Jim Lynch posted about his adventures trying to build his own box. I won't give too much away, but the telltale smell of smoke was involved. It's really not so hard as long as you take your time and take a few basic precautions. I know The Master has had some fun in this department in the past too :) Thanks Slashdot.
The Master comments: Yeah, I used a bad floppy drive in a new system which ended up grounding the whole system out and blew the PS. The lovely smell of ozone and smoke made the whole experience very special. Not to mention the shot mobo and CPU.
