SGI Compares SCO, Linux Kernels

Heres a Slashdot post with some discussion on SGI's announced comparison of the SGI copy of System V UNIX and the Linux 2.4 kernel. Their results? The similarities are "trivial in amount". Some good news. Now, if IBM would do the comparison and announce the results, that would be a good thing.

The article is long on accusation but very short on details. Even if IE is at least partially to blame, I still question Valve's networking policies.

I never will understand why companies like this leave their IP on machines with access to the Internet.
