Shadows of Undrentide Site Live

Bioware's official site for Shadows of Undrentide, the first expansion for Neverwinter Nights, has gone live. It packs a slew (a metric slew, since they are Canadian) of screenshots and information for your perusing pleasure.

Jedi Academy Info

Kenn Hoekstra made a post on the Raven forums with information on Jedi Academy, the forthcoming sequel to Jedi Outcast. Among the more interesting tidbits is that a player will be able to chose his own lightsaber color and hilt. They also added ragdoll physics a la UT2K3. Thanks Blue's News.

Your FreeBSD Questions Answered

OSNews has broken its trend of "install Linux and call it a review" articles and has produced some high-quality stuff: an interview with the FreeBSD core team. If you follow FreeBSD you'll recognize that there are some high-caliber names responding to these questions. If you don't follow FreeBSD, get to it.

Personally I love FreeBSD's clean and tidy feel, and its ports (software installation) system is heaven for those with broadband. It makes a great desktop OS too: I used it as a telecommuter for 8 weeks in 2001 on a 100 MHz machine, and it worked out beautifully.
