NWN 1.29 Patch Released -- 10:49 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

Bioware has released the 1.29 patch for Neverwinter Nights. The preferred way to update is through the "Update" button on the launcher. I'm hoping that this patch is what was holding up the Linux beta client so I can actually try this thing out.

Epic UT2K3 Bonus Pack Released -- 6:17 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

Epic has released their bonus pack for Unreal Tournament 2003. The 149M download is available from the official UT2K3 site and the usual mirror sites. You will need to be patched to version 2199. Here's what the bonus pack includes:

• 10 New Maps (6 DM, 2 CTF, 1 DOM, 1 BR)
• 3 New Gametypes (Mutant, Last Man Standing, Invasion)
• 2 New Adrenaline Combos
• Many other new features (Music Options, Announcer Voice, etc)

The Master comments: I installed the BP last night, and tried out the new DOM map, which was pretty cool. Then I tried out the new Invasion gametype. Half-way through the first wave, my machine bugchecked and rebooted. Not so cool.

Junkyard Wars Mega-War -- 11:16 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

My wife and I just got done watching the Junkyward Wars Mega War where three teams attempted to build airplanes in two days using only materials and tools that would have been available around 1900. I won't give anything away, but it is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen on television. If you missed it tonight, they are replaying it on Wednesday. Do yourself a favor and set your VCR.

The Master comments: I caught the end of that one last night while trying to convince my son that sleep really was a good idea. It did look interesting -- I will be sure to catch it Wednesday :-)
