UT3 Maps on the PS3

I just tried downloading and installing one of the new community-made maps, DM-Krodan. I just had to unzip it to an SD card, pop it into the PS3, and add it in the "My Content" menu in UT3. Worked like a charm! It's easier than installing maps in the Linux version--although not even that was hard. So where's UT3 Jailbreak already? :)

As an aside I read that the PS3 version of UT3 sold 110,000 copies in its first two weeks as opposed to 39,000 of the PC version.

UT3 for PS3

I ended up flipping a coin between getting UT3 and Orange Box for my PS3. I basically went with my FPS heart, and also wanted to reward Epic for an excellent port as opposed to Valve/EA's crappy one. I've been enjoying it so far. The graphics are leaps and bounds better than UT2K4. The really nice thing is that I can play it at full speed without so much as a single framerate hiccup. Of course, that means I can't blame my suckiness on anything but myself. I played a little lo-grav instagib online yesterday. It was a blast. I finished about the middle of the pack, which isn't bad since my skillz are so rusty and I'm still getting used to the Sixaxis control.
