A Habitable Planet? -- 3:58 pm CST, Update by The Master

Space.com has an announcement indicating that astronomers may have detected a planet that exists within the liquid-water habitable zone around it's star. Exciting news for SETI as well, even though this system has been checked twice in the past with no result.

SCO Lawsuit -- Badum PISH -- 10:26 pm CST, Update by The Master

Check this out. Groklaw has the latest up on the SCO v. Novell case, arguing over who owns the copyright for the UNIX source. Guess what? I think Novell has just smoked all of SCO's BS witnesses on the APA agreements. This might be the final nail in the coffin for them. If this ever gets to trial. There's a good chance SCO could be bankrupt before then. . .
