Linux Flash Interview

ZDNet posted an interview with Adobe's Mike Melanson, lead engineer on the Linux Flash Player team. He is also the one behind the Penguin.SWF blog. He talks about some of the challenges they face from API decisions to supporting multiple distributions.

pilot-link 0.12.0 Released

It isn't appearing on the official pilot-link page just yet, but the unthinkable has happened. At long last, pilot-link 0.12.0 has been released. There are many changes, the biggest is the addition of libusb support, which allows you to sync your PDA without the kernel Visor module. Why bypass that module? How does a 300-600% speedup sound? You can download the tarball and compile it for yourself.
