Barry Bonds -- 9:50 am CST, Update by The Master

Normally, I leave baseball fandom to the expert: Eeyore. Myself, I really am not a sports fan. However, after reading this, I just HAD to laugh. I can only hope that MLB actually DOES something like this with Barry Bond's baseball records. Considering what they did to Pete Rose, it's the LEAST they can do.

Shadowrun MPG? -- 9:45 am CST, Update by The Master

3D Gamers has a new section up for FASA Studio's Shadowrun MPG game. While I played this game in the original pencil-and-paper RPG form (it generated some of the best gameplay I ever GM'ed), I really dread an MPG game form. Mainly because I'm too cheap to pay monthly fees for a game you shell out $50 for, but that's just me. The screenshots certainly do look nice. Hopefully they can deliver an awesome game worthy of the franchise.

Bleh: Schlock! -- 9:40 am CST, Update by The Master

I preordered the new Schlock Mercenary comic book when it was announced back in March, and I got it in the mail yesterday. I finished it yesterday as well, and it was excellent. I love this comic--it has taken the #1 spot away from Megatokyo for me. Howard does a great job with the hard Sci-fi comedy, and I am looking forward to the next 3 books he's got planned.

Carmack Interview -- 9:36 am CST, Update by The Master

SPOnG has a new interview with John Carmack up. They did this interview at E3, so it is fairly current. Interesting to hear there is a new Wolfenstein followup in the works, along with a totally new game concept from id.

Half-Life 2:Episode 1 Gold -- 3:24 pm CST, Update by The Master

Valve has announced that Half-Life 2: Episode One has gone gold, and will make it's June 1 release date. I've already bought mine, and am looking forward to a fresh game in June.
