Firefox 1.0.1 Released

The Mozilla team has released Firefox 1.0.1 which contains some security updates. The limited release notes are available for your perusal. If you are using Firefox to browse the web, you should grab this one. If you aren't using Firefox, well, what's wrong with you? By the by, why not be nice to Mozilla's servers? Try getting Firefox 1.0.1 via BitTorrent.

UT2K4 3355 Patch Released

Epic has released the 3355 patch for Unreal Tournament 2004. Here's a list of the changes:

If you want the Editor's Choice Edition (ECE) content, make sure it is installed before you install this patch. The Mac patch includes the ECE content. You can download the Windows version from 3D Gamers (13M) and the Linux version (19.7M) directly from icculus.org. The Mac version is also available at icculus.org.

25 years ago today, February 22, 1980, that famous call was made by Al Michaels when the rag-tag United States Olympic hockey team did the impossible, beating the mighty Soviet Union team 4-3. This after being thrashed by the Russians 10-3 in a game right before the Olympics. I remember watching it on T.V. It's interesting that the single most important sporting event in American history was a hockey game--a game most Americans could care less about.
