NHL: Not Quite Dead?

In the "well this just gets weirder, doesn't it" department, reports originating with the Hockey News indicate that there may be a deal in principle between the NHL and the NHLPA. There are even rumors that the season will be officially uncancelled tomorrow. I'd love to see some hockey, but I've got to admit that this one has me absolutely bewildered. I want to believe it's true, but I've got this fear that I'm going to be let down again.

SCO to Be Delisted?

The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting that SCO is in danger of being delisted from the NASDAQ. The reason? They still have not issued their 2004 annual report, even missing the extension deadline of January 31. Nothing like trying to scare away your few remaining investors! Even the normally SCO-friendly Laura DiDio expresses concern. SCO issued a press release picked up by Linux Today, among others. Kinda brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?
