Pondering the Imponderable

Ahh, the joy of aging. Last Tuesday I got this pain in my upper back and tingling in my fingers. I made my first ever appointment with a chiropracter. That helped, but now I'm glad a scheduled a follow-up for tomorrow, because I've had another pain in that general area. I think I've had a problem there for years, but it's never been a big issue before. Right now it's very annoying to type and I have a hard time carrying my year-old daughter around very long.

In a totally unrelated note, I'm glad I didn't ask Eeyore to pick the playoff games with me. I would've picked the Colts and I might have picked the Rams (that would've been a toss-up) but I never would have picked the Vikings or the Jets. There is no joy up here in the land of cheese and make-believe.

Vaporware of the Year

A year has passed. That must mean it's time for Wired's Vaporware of 2004. A couple of entries seem a little harsh, but #3 and #1 pretty much are the definition of vaporware. Please note: Duke Nukem Forever was given a lifetime achievement award last year and so does not appear this year, although it would still be deserving. Thanks Evil Avatar.
