HardOCP Wins Vs. Infinium Labs -- 9:17 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun

Infinium Labs has basically given up the legal fight against HardOCP. HardOCP sued them after Infinium Labs threatened to bring legal action against them for this article which questioned Infinium's Phantom console and many other things surrounding their business. The only question now is who pays the legal fees. While this is a victory for HardOCP, it cost them $200K to fight this battle. They will probably get some of that back, but obviously most sites would not have a chance to fight such threats of litigation.

Mars Rover Anniversary -- 3:36 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

It's easy to poke fun at NASA for their very expensive mistakes. However the twin Mars rovers, Spirit and Opportunity, have far exceeded expectations. It was one year ago today that Spirit landed on Mars. We reported on this at the time. The Opportunity landed on January 25. Not bad for little crafts that were only supposed to go three months. Thanks Slashdot.
