DOOM3 SDK Released -- 6:35 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

id's Robert Duffy updated his .plan with news that id has released the software development kit for DOOM3. It is available for download on the official DOOM3 SDK page. Hopefully now we will see some cool mods start to spring up.

The Master comments: I spend some time reviewing the site, and this is some really interesting stuff. I'm impressed that id tried very hard to make everything scriptable, instead of having to write C code to do anything. The modularity of the whole system reminds me a great deal of what was done with Unreal Tournament. Developers are going to have a field day with this stuff.
