Christmas, Mk II

Since my parents are here now, we had a second Christmas gift opening. I got a couple of books I needed, The Rocky and Bullwinkle first season DVD set, and a Lions sweatshirt. I should have my fill of classic cartoons for a while. Ironically, my wife and I got the Rocky and Bullwinkle DVDs for my Dad too.

It's 2004!

Let's . . . be careful out there.

Hating PowerPoint

Despite David Byrne's use of the technology, I'm glad to see that many people agree with me that PowerPoint is evil. I'm going to have to find that PowerPoint version of the Gettysburg Address. It sounds hilarious. My favorite quote in the article is from Vint Cerf, "Power corrupts and PowerPoint corrupts absolutely." Thanks Blue's News.

New PDA Case

Following some recommendations, I ordered a Slipper case from EB Cases for my Tungsten E. I ordered it on Christmas Day and it arrives via FedEx today! It looks really nice, fits the PDA very well, and should do a good job of protecting it. So far, I give it a big thumbs up. I'll report back as I have some more "field experience" with it.
