The Mozilla team has released version 0.9.6 of their open-source web browsing suite. Get 'em whilst they're hot! If you haven't tried Mozilla yet, why not now?

NFL Week #10 Final -- 10:09 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun

Upset city this week. Ugly, ugly, ugly. Thankfully Eeyore and I managed to keep our heads above water, finishing tied at 8-7. That makes me 86-57 (.601) and Eeyore 78-65 (.545) overall. I have no idea who to pick on Thursday. Normally I'd go with the Lions because of their record on Thanksgiving and the Packers' abysmal record in domes. But the Lions are so bad and so decimated, I don't know if I can.

id's Todd Hollenshead updated his .plan with word that Return to Castle Wolfenstein should be hitting many retailers shelves today! W00t!

UPDATE! I stopped at the local Best Buy this evening. There were no copies of Wolfie on the shelves, only the pre-order empty boxes.

Nintendo has released their latest console system, the GameCube. Once again, I find myself compelled to say, "Rah."

NetFilter/IPTables Primer -- 11:40 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun

SysAdmin has an overview of NetFilter/iptables for Linux showing how to use it and why you would want to. NetFilter is the new stateful firewall built into the 2.4.x Linux kernel. Soon I hope to convert my ipchains firewall to iptables. We'll have to see how that goes. Thanks Linux Today.
