Indrema RIP

According to this Video Business article, Indrema, the Linux-based console gaming system, is no more. I'm not really surprised at this since you need to be able to bleed cash for a LONG time before you would ever see a return with a console. 'Twas a potentially neat idea, but that's what happens to neat ideas sans adequate funding. Thanks Slashdot.

Hollenshead on Doom and Keen for GBA

Stomped interviewed id CEO Todd Hollenshead about the forthcoming versions of Doom and Commander Keen for the Game Boy Advance. Does the thought of four-player Doom on the GBA make me want to get it? Oh yes, it does!

Tribes 2 Giveaway

XGR is giving away two copies of Tribes 2. All it will cost you is your email address. One caveat, they don't have a privacy policy saying exactly what they plan on doing with your address. Of course, if your email box is anything like mine, one more spam list would be almost imperceptible.

Blue Shift Preview

PC.IGN posted a brief preview of Blue Shift, the forthcoming Half-Life expansion from Gearbox Software. They include two screenshots too of a Barney and a scientist to show the difference between the original H-L models and the high-definition ones to be included with Blue Shift. Thanks Stomped.

Agenda VR3 Review

Brighthand posted a review of the Linux-based Agenda VR3 PDA. The news isn't good. I'm not so sure that Linux is the best OS for a PDA anyway (I'd prefer one designed from the ground-up for the device). We'll have to see if the next PDA from Agenda will fix the copious bugs or if the company itself will be DOA. Thanks Slashdot.

Shogo for Amiga Demo Released

Hyperion Software has released a demo of Shogo: Mobile Armor Division for Amiga. It is a 36M download. You can check out the readme here. I updated my About Shogo page with this information as well. Thanks Blue.
