Levelord Interview

I'm relatively certain this isn't very Christmasy, but JeffK has interviewed Levelord. It probably shouldn't be viewed by anyone under 18, or with an I.Q. over 18 for that matter. Still it's pretty hysterical.

How the Grinch Captured the Flag

Most every American should be familiar with the classic Dr. Suess book, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Well, now it has been thoroughly Quake-ified. Check out How the Grinch Captured the Flag. Just in time for Christmas.

id Interviews

Quakeidge posted a couple of interviews with id employees about Quake III: Team Arena and even a couple of hints about the new Doom. The first is with Paul Jaquays, the second is with Todd Hollenshead. Thanks Blue's News.

Merry Christmas!!

Welp, that fine Christmas morning 7 am wake up call has come and gone, and I must have been a very good boy this year. I got 3 DVDs (The Right Stuff, Men in Black, The Princess Bride) and Quake 3: Team Arena. Sorry A.T. :-)

My son is swimming in new toys. There is nothing more amusing than watching a 2-year old debate over which toy to play with at any given moment. Wheee!

A.T. Hun comments: I just saw in the Best Buy flyer (no affiliation, yadda, yadda) that Q3:TA is on sale this week for $17.99. It will be mine tomorrow.

NFL Week #17 So Far

I'm on pace to have my best week all year in my NFL picks. I am 12-2, Eeyore is right behind at 11-3. We'll probably keep picking in the playoffs just for giggles.

*Aaack* *Gasp*

That great big gagging sound you just heard was my stinking, worthless, God-forsaken Lions choking their way out of the playoffs. I guess I can chalk it up to a mercy killing since they would have lost in the first round of the playoffs anyway.

New Doom Legacy

Just in time for Christmas, there's a brand-spanking new version of Doom Legacy, the port of id's classic game to 3D technology. I've been using Doom Legacy for a while now and am very pleased with it. Thanks Blue's News.

New GameSpy 2.24

Looks like GameSpy has released version 2.24 of the über-game browser. This one supports Deus Ex, Q3A:TA, and a WHOLE slew of other games. If you're a registered GameSpy owner, go pick it up.

Bleh

Well, in our part of the world it's Christmas Eve. So, here's wishing you all a Merry one, those who celebrate it.

The empty post that's been online since 12:30 am was the result of my ISP's (RoadRunner) gift to me this year, a fifth weekend of flaky or nonexistent internet connectivity. Sorry about that all (two of you :-).

A.T. Hun comments: Glad to know RR gave you such a sweet Christmas present. We opened up our presents last night. Santa didn't bring me Q3:TA, but that will be quickly rememdied :) I did get some loud and obnoxious music which is always A Good Thing.
