Pondering the Imponderable -- 12:59 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

I hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving (or at least the fact that the weekend is almost here). The Master should be back home today, so he'll be able to keep you up-to-date with any news. I'm sure there won't be much.

There are various Quake III: Team Arena demo reviews floating around, check the usual suspects. Most of the information contained therein is nothing that we didn't know already.

I also hope everyone enjoyed watching the Lions thump the Pats as I did listening to it on the radio. Almost drove off the road a couple of times.

Q3:TA Tips -- 9:52 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

id's Todd Hollenshead made a post on the Quake3World forums giving some general tips for the Quake III: Team Arena demo and some performance hints. Thanks Voodoo Extreme.

Speaking of Q3:TA, I noticed that even Evil Avatar has spoken glowingly of the demo, and he has been a rather vocal Q3A-basher. I had just enough time before I left this morning to install the demo, see the opening id cinematic, and check out the new menu. I think I know what I'm going to ask for for Christmas :)

If you haven't downloaded the Quake III: Team Arena demo yet (story) or if you are in the process of downloading it now, you can check out information on the demo at id's official Q3:TA demo page. My copy just got done downloading, but we'll be leaving in just a bit to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family. I won't get a chance to try it until Saturday. Oh well.
