UT2K3 Lockup FAQ -- 9:20 pm CST, Update by The Master

There is a short UT2K3 lockup FAQ available over on the Unreal Technology Page. Some good tips and tricks for those (like me) having problems with the full version of UT2K3 on their PCs.

Q3A 1.32 Patch Released -- 6:07 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

id's Robert Duffy updated his .plan with news that the 1.32 patch for Quake III Arena / Team Arena has been released. Both Windows and Linux versions are available. The big part of this patch is the addition of Punk Buster to combat online cheating. Links to the id FTP site are included in the update. I expect mirrors to pop up very quickly.

UPDATE! FileShack has mirrored the Linux version and the Windows version of the patch.

NFL Week #5 So Far -- 10:52 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

Well, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Had the Browns completed their amazing comeback attempt, my picks would have been even better. With one game left, I am 10-3. Eeyore is 7-6.

I must be a glutton for punishment. I decided to install Red Hat 8.0 over my current installation. I like Bluecurve well enough, as far as interfaces goes. Too bad it can't hide GTK's complete ugliness from me. I don't much care for the new menu system. It really doesn't seem to help anything. I'll give a more thorough run-down as soon as I get some functioning brain cells.
